Reminder does not play sound in Normal mode after returning from Vibrate mode. Needs factory reset. This phone can not detect voice commands correctly. It needs capability to be voice trained like V3 RAZR. If we dial a number, it makes too big annoying sound. Low battery alarm should be given at 33% life remaining. This gives too late. I need more than one alarms like V3 RAZR. There should be easy switch to snooze or dismiss alarm. I also need a cover that while using the phone, I don't need to remove phone out of the cover.

I love the way I can transfer microsoft word documents that have all my vintage cocktail receipies and transfer them over to my phone. I can easly display them while making a drink for my friends or to another bartender. I love way I can tex my friends and transfer pictures to my phone.

Actually, I'm still having fun and getting frustrated trying to learn it. I like how it's small and it does so much.
Now, the ringtones that come with the phone are not very noticeable when they ring. Sometimes when I set one it won't use it. Like I said I'm still learning so I'm trying to find my own ringtones to put in. Hopefully I'll be able to hear them better.

I love the internet on this thing. It also has wifi so you can connect to a wireless network while out. Even still, the display of the web pages are of great quality, like you're on an actual computer. I really like it. I havent had any problems such as locking up or anything. My phone accidentally called someone once because I keep a lot in my purse and it unlocked it but it is not easy to do. Its a great phone, and texting is easy, calls are clear, appointments are easy to put in...thats all you really need right there!

The screen size is nice. It's large and easy to see things. The buttons are a little small but workable. I have not yet been able to connect to email because of errors and will be checking on that with T-Mobile.

I love this phone. I got it for work and it is incredible. The wireless internet is great so that I don't need to have my laptop with me everywhere I go. The camera takes great pictures. I really like the video recording function as well. The only drawback is that I am a Macintosh user and the software is PC only. I just have to sync it with another computer at work that is a PC, but it syncs seamlessly. Great phone! I recommended this phone to a friend and he already got his own and loves it.

QWERTY keyboard was too cramped, dialing from the phone was difficult, contacts are your best bet.
WM 6 OS needs some work, the alarm clock was buggy and the OS in general was too click intensive and visually boring.
i spent more time in task manager ending programs than actually using the phone.

had to cold boot the phone 3 times in the less than a week that i had the device

The calendar/personal planner is great no more carrying a bulky daily planner. I love the windows live search its like having a talking map with me at all times. This phone is even more usefull than I originally thought. I love mobile e-mail.

The T-Mobile Dash needs a few adjustments to be a great phone. Removing/changing the volume button, possibly upgrading to a "touch screen", a longer lasting battery and making it possible to add more than 1 number to each contact are the biggest flaws.

I am fast pace person who needs to have quick access the everything. I am always on the go but am able to charge the battery every night. Battery life is poor and when its low, it just shuts off shortly after you get the low bat warning. unlike other phones, after you get the low bat warning, you still have some time to use it before it completely dies. This is very inconvinient specially when I am on a call. The good thing about the phone is that, it has all the features I need. They are just difficult to get to. the manual is horrible. The manual only tells you how to get to a certain function but doesnt show you how to use it. You can figure out the different menu without the manual just by navigating through it. The manual is useless. The volume setting is difficult. its difficult to set diffent volumes for different things. I was also irritated by the alarm clock. It was set to go off for a day and it went off every day for 2 weeks. I also could not figure out how to change it as the menu showing that an alarm was not set. There is also not very many ring tones. Its also difficult to listen to them since the phone does not seem to react when I press play. There are so many glitches on this brand new phone. i would not recommend it.

I was tired of carrying a PDA (Palm TX) AND a phone AND an iPod. I thought about the iPhone, but would have been scared to use it with that huge touchscreen. I am a normal person, and sometimes my hands are dirty when I need to answer the phone!
I read a lot of reviews, and kept coming back to the T-Mobile Dash. I am SO glad I did. It's my first smartphone, so I can't compare it to others, but I can say that I successfully replaced 3 devices with 1, and did not suffer in any area - in fact, I gained functionality. I have been using it for a month now, and while there was an adjustment period, I haven't regretted this decision for a moment. Awesome phone, great PDA, and good mp3/video player. How can you go wrong?!

The only real con about this phone is the alarm that comes with the phone. There is a software bug that need to be fixed. When I change the alarm to go off at a different time, I actually get both alarms. It is recomended not to use the alarm that came on the phone and download a third party application.

The T-Mobile Dash is both a great phone and a good PDA. Call quality is clear and the navigation is easy once you get it figured out. It has a very nice display and a good feel to it, the rubberized back is both anti slip and scratch resistant.

I Wouldn’t Recommend This Phone Unless You Have Long Nails, Dainty Hands, & The Hearing of A Canine..
I have small hands and long fingernails but I still have a problem operating this phone. The buttons are extremely small and too close together to operate properly. If I could, I would swap this phone for another. The volume control of this phone is a big pain. It is quite embarrassing when someone else has to tell you your phone is ringing. Or you can barely hear your caller.
I have set the volume as high as possible but callers, my ringtones and alarm reminders are still very low.
The phone is very light and offers a lot of features but the basic features need a bit of tinkering. Again if I could switch this phone for another I would but my “trial” period has run out.
My advice, unless you have small fingers and the hearing of a canine, avoid this phone

Start having problems from day one. T-Mobile replace it because [...] never responde my calls or my emails. I'm using a second device, but still having troubles with phone freezing and I have to remove battery to reset. Not to practical for a high quality phone like this. Maybe somebody will have better luck. I'm planning to switch back to a BlackBerry.

The phone has more issues than features that I used regularly. Windows Mobile would take for......ever to start up. Too many dropped calls. I had an older Nokia and I used to have dropped calls because of poor Tmobile service, but the number of dropped calls perceptibly increased when I switched to the TMobile Dash. The volume control was a pain to operate and volume adjustment kept resetting itself. Overall, the usability of the phone sucked. After being a Nokia phone user for 4 years, that was a BIG deal! I have since switched to the Blackberry 8300, and I LOVE it.

Great phone; except for volume control

Excellent phone. Thanks.
Three things:
1. The volume control on the side is either too sensitive or not sensitive enough, oddly.
2. Use of this phone as a modem (connected to separate computer) is difficult. Difficult time setting up this function.
3. So too use as a radio. It's not clear to me how this phone can function as a radio tuner.
