Well, I loved the Krazr for the first three months. After that, it began doing odd, sporadic things such as hording outgoing text messages until turned off (sometimes for days), powering itself off after the screen goes completely white, and refusing to send pics via text message. Oh, and the numbers have flaked off of the number buttons due to zealous text messaging.

For me, this is a phone purely and simply. I don't text, download songs, or play games. So clearly I have too many horses for what I need. And though I only make about 20 calls a month, I want to make sure they go through without a problem. This phone has never let me down. There was a problem at the beginning of the contract (moisture sensors or something) but a week at Wirefly and a few phone calls later solved the problem (battery issue).
I wish the camera took better pictures, but I only use them for phone wallpaper anyway, so no big deal.
Overall, it's all I could ask for. It's solid, dependable, and...blue!

I use the phone solely for making and receiving calls. Works very well for making calls but several of my incoming calls the phone did not ring but went straight to voice mail and on occasion these did not show up until the next day. This could be carriers fault and not phone.

The Motorola KRZR K1 is the best phone I have owned. I use it many times thru-out the day since it is my only phone. It is so easy to use and has many short cuts. Previously I had the razor and the KRZR is soooo much better. It is the right size to tuck in my pocket or purse. The battery lasts 3-4 days before it needs to be charged. The display is very easy to see. I haven't really used the camera, but it does take great pics. I have nothing negative to say about this phone. In fact, I am very pleased that I picked this one over any others. Firefly is the best to use!!!

It is a nice looking compact package , but not as loud or clear as the two previous Nokia phones I owned .My last being a Nokia 6102,I believe .
The Krazr K1 is okay ,but , aside from its compact ,slim size it is nothing great . I suspect that there are better choices out there .

I only use this phone for making calls. It is great at that. The display is brilliant. The ringtones seem quiet even when set to loud. The flip is very strong so it takes more effort than others to flip open.Half the time when I open it I hit some button that opens up a menu unintentionally. Overall good phone with quirks.

Previous model allow me to give nickname to any number within entry. I could store together several numbers under one entry. I just need put different remarks as a nickname to each number.
So Smith could have Home #, Mikes cell #, Mike business #, Sally cell #, Sally business #, Tom cell #.
All numbers belong to this family were together as a ONE entry.
Now I have to store them as separate entries. It’s very inconvenient when you browsing your phonebook.
Also I get use to have more then 9 Speed Dial numbers. In KRZR there are just 9 of them. Manual says I can have more then 9 numbers, but in reality there are no way to set it on the phone. Manual doesn’t reflect how phone works in reality.

This phone has some nice bells and whistles. It looks very nice, it is thin like the RAZR, but feels more durable. Also, it isn't as wide as the RAZR, which I like, so it fits in your pocket easier. The only con I have is that the navigational buttons are too close, I continually hit the internet button when I'm trying to scroll over. The number buttons are great though. Overall I really am satisfied with this phone. Motorola does a good job with their phones.

This is my 1st motorola phone. I was looking for 2 things...small size, the the abilty to sync my calendar and contacts w/ my mac. These 2 things work great. The phone is supported out of the box w/ mac osx.10.
I havent used the music player at all...seems a bit odd to buy a bluetooth set of headphones to duplicate something I already do w/ my iPod. My only complaint comes from having large fingers...sometimes when i try to use the nav wheel, i bump the web browser button....and the entire wheel is quite small.

this thing works very well for everything, the people who made it knew what they were doing. the only major flaws are that it needs a special cable to plug headphones in that is really hard to find...
one thing i really like about this phone was that the port on the phone is mini usb wich is really versital just about everyone and there mom has a mini usb cable. also when you plug it into your computer it interfaces with it like a portable harddrive so you need no software to use it.

This is my 1st cell phone ever and possible the only one I'll ever need. Set-up was easy and I was taking pics and downloading music the day I got it. I love the color and size of it and the ease of using the voice commands. Also the pics come out great. Very cool phone...highly recomended.

I use this for a phone and a music player. It has a great camera that works well which I don't use much, but when I want one it is there! The advanced voice recognition is excellent to the point that I will never settle for less. The music player needs outside controls, you have to flip it open to change songs or pause, etc. The Verizon model has handy controls on the outside to let you navigate easily. It DOES have stereo bluetooth, which almost makes up for it. Were this phone to have such controls I would rate it as 'None Better'.

Before I bought this phone, I read some reviews that said the buttons were hard to push for men and that you needed to be a girl to own this phone with smaller fingers.
Wrong! I love the buttons and my hands and fingers are huge. So does my son, who also owns the KRZR, and his hands are larger than mine. He also likes the user friendly functionality for downloading tunes off the net not to mention the great sound it gets.
I haven't downloaded any songs yet, not much on that kind of thing, but listening to some Beatles songs on his phone has made me very keen on doing it soon. Forgot how much fun it is to listen to music going down the road. (Getting old and forgetful I guess)
In a nutshell, this phone is great.

The phone had difficulties charging for the 1st week. I couldn't get the phone to charge the battery until I attempted to do so with a car charger. After some fiddling around the battery is now charging fine regardless of charger and has a very long battery life. I am very satisfied with the phone after my initial frustrations with the battery.

Great looking phone, nice slim lines. But ringer often becomes silent and I have to turn the phone off to reset/reboot the phone. Other people that have simular motorola phones experience the same problems. Why do you have to change the menus so much from one KRZR to another?

Have been a mobile phone user for ~18 years and used LOTS of different phones... and they just keep getting better and better. The RAZR was a great introduction from Motorola, but in my opinion, the KRZR is one of the best on the market today. Can't wait to see what is on the market in a year or two...

Excellent for daily use. The battery usually lasts for less than a week if I make several short calls plus one or two calls for an hour. That is why I put it as Cons. But I hear that it is a common case for cell phones.

The positioning of the button that connects to the Internet is bad as sometimes I accidentally push that to make calls. It tries to download a few thosuand bytes of data immediately. There is no direct way to kill the process and I need to say 'yes' to stop it.
