Love the ease of use... Hate the battery life. if you browse the web to much it kills the battery! the only other function i dislike is you can't go to your call list and browse the contact for another number to call. you have to go back to the phone book.

Great phone for everyday use. The qwerty keyboard is a bit testy. I seem to have to reconfigure the touch pad often... too many wrong letters per touch. Have not had a problem with battery life so far. Sound and reception have been great. Would definitely recommend this phone to people who use their phone for calls and email and don't feel the need to impress with more expensive, similar phones.

I use the phone for calls, emergencies, e-mails, call forwarding from home phone, photos, TV, and some things I haven't learned yet! It has alot of functions!!
It also locks up fast and I have to unlock often. The buttons are a little small and I often have to clear entries. You really need to use a stylus to touch the right keys. A good phone overall.

This is a great desighn for a cell phone. I like the vibration as you touch the keys. The graphics are unbelievable for such a small phone. Easy navigation. I was very imperessed with the digital camera and video recorder. Even in low light the picture is very nice!..I even took a picture off my TV and the pic looks soo good I use it for my wallpaper. Keep in mind this is the new generation cell phone "LG3"...ATT has very nice plans for these phones coming soon. Trust me you will love it!.The buttons are very small and very close so anyone with fat fingers may find it difficult to type or try to dial numbers. It is not recommended to use a stylus due to the screen. I highly recommend a screen saver to protect from scratches. I would not recommend the fine if your likely to drop it or in rough work areas. The phone 'seems" very delicate. i find the battery somewhat poor. But considerin it comes with a wall charger you can keep it charged daily. Do not buy the accessories ytou need from a retailer. I bought a cradle from wirefly that even came with a PC pigtail needed for MP3 music, a car charger, and a SD card for memory for the low price of around $25 from Wirefly [...] Those same items would have cost me $87 dollars if i bought them retail. All in all Its a great phone very clear and fast connection. I am going to buy one for my wife. One more tip. I dont work for wirefly ok?... but this is a[$] phone and they showed me how to get around my current contract to get this device free!... can you do better

The phone itself is nice with easy navigation and great battery life, however, this phone was really frustrating to use. First, I place a lot of calls to an automated system for my job. Every time I would press the number on the screen for the automation, the phone would attempt to dial out and call that number. Also-the screen locks within a second and I have to keep unlocking it to press the automated numbers. In addition-when I speak to someone, it changes to a screen called "Sound" for no apparent reason. Frustrating when it was locked since I have to keep going back and forth with unlocking it. When it wasn't locked, it would switch to another screen. I have to return it for a NON-Touch Phone.

first and foremost - no SYNC!!! at that price you'd expect a free software and you can't even get it for money. Even after getting a USB cord you can't sync your contacts. They sell it to you saying "use it to sync" and then it turns out - ONLY MUSIC!!! I don't give a !@# about music! I want my contacts! I can load my music with a SD card reader but when stuck in traffic I MUST make some calls not listen to some mp3s.credit where it is due - fast downloads. But what are you going to do with them? If a site is mobile-optimized - like youtube - you are more or less OK but if not - rendering is poor. plug ins are not available. Some sites need FLASH player - can't get that one. go to say [@] for their shows - can't get those - no plug-ins, too many pop-ups.receive a call, lift the phone to the ear - make sure to hit "LOCK" otherwise your phone touching your ear is treated as a "click".too many demo apps that can't be removed. I have purchased 1 game, have to dig for it among their trash.one of USB modes is "data" - switch to it, plug in via cord, pc searches for drivers and never finds them - no on CD, not on the web not on lge.com. BTW send a note to them about the driver - they are silent.all and all - if walking around with a cool flat music player is your thing - go for this phone. If you are trying to get something done with it - sorry, wrong model.

An extra treat is the high quality and excellent picturs that are taken with the video and camera feature. The touch screen is an extra added bonus. This phone is what I have been waiting on for years. I have had phones by motorola, samsung, and crackberry, and I simply refuse to even entertain the I Phone. The thing that LG understands is that the aforementioned manufacturers don't is that professionals need phones that are applicable past music and YouTube. Think about it! We get charged and average of $325 dollars for the ability to download songs and play on MySpace. The LG Vu is for the daily professional or child who needs to accomplish whatever. I used to take my laptop everywhere with me until purchasing this phone. The e-mail intergration in superb. In conclusion, get this phone.

This phone is small, light and sleek. Even with it's compact design it still has a large and bright display. The TV works great and web browsing is faster than most of the 3G phones I've seen. The only thing that I would change is in order to switch the display view from portrait to lanscape mode you actually have to select which option you desire from the option menu. Whereas on some other touch screen phones the view changes by rotating the phone. It only takes a second to change the view, so it's no big deal. Also the casing is a very light high gloss plastic. I would definitely recommend a protective cover/ case for anyone who drops their phone alot. Other than that great phone... great price!

This is a very attractive, easy to use phone for accomplishing many everyday tasks such as doing whatever we do on the internet, listening music, playing games, as well as making phone calls, which is the phone's main functionality. The connection speed is fast compared to many other phones although this also depends on the signals available in an area. Texting, sending and reading e-mails, making phone calls are all easy on this slick phone. The data connection charge is only $15 (with AT&T) which makes this phone very cost effective to accomplish internet access. However, there are three issues that annoyed me. One is that each time I received an e-mail, which I receive a lot of e-mails, the notification inundates the screen and alerts me in the middle of a conversation. I was able to turn off all voice and vibration notification. But I was not able to turn of screen notification for receiving e-mails. When I want to check my e-mail, I can log on to Media-Net and check my e-mails. So, the phone should have an option to turn off all notifications. Period. Second issue that annoyed me is that adjusting the volumes or vibration for messages, e-mails, and phone calls are unnecessarily too complex. It should be intuitively simple to adjust the volume or vibration of any of the phones' features. Third thing that annoyed me is that there is no small, handy hardcopy manual that we can quickly skim through to do what we want to do with the phone's features. I understand that to save money and to reduce the use of papers for recycling purposes, they include a CD as a manual. They could have included only a few pages of small handbook to guide us for basic functionalities in addition to including a CD for details. In order to learn the functionalities of the phone, you have to have to spend a lot of time in front of the computer. What a waste of time.

The navigation of the phone is ok, some of the things are just hard to find. The booklet that came with it was not very helpful. I'm figuring the phone out the more I use it and with a little help from my 11 year old. I just wish they had a different color than black when I got it. Overall I'm glad I got it.

I love the fact that the screen locks automatically, so I can't accidentally call people. The touch screen takes a few days to get used to but then it is wonderful. The display is big so it is easy to see. The only bad thing I have to say about this phone is the fact that you can't set music to your incoming texts. You have to use the standard bell sounds. I have always had a flip phone and wasn't sure I would like this one, But I LOVE it!

I use the phone mostly for personal and some business. The email function through Yahoo is good and I'm a big fan of the touch screen. Functionality it great and the data speeds have been good. The camera takes good pics and the screen is great! Overall I love the phone. A few things I would suggest for improvement are a better snooze function on the alarm (only 5 min and email alerts get in the way of seeing what time it is first thing in the morning). The text/email keyboards are set up a little differently. They should be exactly the same. They work fine, but the texting keyboard is more efficient. The scroll feature on screen could work a little better. Browsing is pretty good though and pages come up fast for me. Overall I recommend.

I bought the phone for both my daughter and myself. She loves it and I am getting used to it. Prior to buying this I did not text at all so I am still learning how to use the qwerty keyboard. Overall we both really like it and would recommend it to our friends. The only con is that the camera is of pretty poor quality. I took some pictures of my friends to match their names and they weren't good.

My suggestion: If you go touch screen make sure the phone has a pop out keypad

Was worried when I picked out the LG VU had never seen it and didn't know anyone who had one. The camera is amazing and takes great pictures of my grand daugther, texted has never been easier. If you have a hard time of hearing people on the phone then this is the phone for you! This has thus far been the best phone I have ever owned. I didn't just get one I purchased two, the other one for for my 17 yr old son and he loves his new phone and you know what a teenager puts a cell phone through. The day after I recieved my phone three of my co-workers had me get them on-line and order them a new LG VU, they have really enjoyed theirs. So far there has not been a single complaint or issue. In my closing I want to thank Wirefly it was and alway has been a pleasure doing business them and I will continue to do all my cell phone shopping with Wirefly. [@]

I have had this phone about weeks now and it is the best phone I've owned. I've owned tons since the days of the ORIGINAL Motorola "brick phone." This phone is lightweight and eye-catching, call quality is excellent, the touch screen is accurate and responsive. It did take me a couple of days to get used to texting on the phone, seeing that all other phones I've owned actually had BUTTONS. It just takes a little bit of time. The best feature or should I say service is the mobile TV. There are 15 channels and starting this Saturday the addition of the [...] channel.... So no more waiting for halftime to make the addtional chips, dips, and beer run. Just hit your TV button and go directly to live coverage. It's great. GO LONGHORNS!

LG Vu has good screen resolution, good call quality, speakers are not bad for music, and fully "mod"-able, sleek design

I dont like the: navigation buttons(some are three tiers deep like voice command), buttons on screen are a little to hard to press (esp. the media browser), takes forever to load anything from memory card, taking pictures needs practice (or else all you get are blurs), sluggish response time,

LG Vu is a great phone if you want a touch screen phone if you dont have the money to get an iphone.

LG VU: poor man's Iphone (I'd still recommend it though!)

It takes some time to learn how to use the QWERTY keyboard because the keys are small, but once you get the hang of it, it's way better than texting with the usual keypad. Assigning types to phone numbers (cell, home, business) was difficult to figure out. Other than that, the phone's terrific.

I have only had the 920 for about a month but everything that I use a phone for is excellent with this phone. I especailly like the speaker phone part. It is so loud that you can hold the phone 2 feet away from you and still hear the other party real well and they dont have any problems hearing you. I dont text very much but when I do the qwerty key board is really nice. I also use the speed calling a lot and the voice calling works great. Overall I really like the phone and I havent found any cons with it as yet. Like I said earlier the things I use the phone for all work great. Great phone.

LG VUE is a great phone. Fits nicely in you packet or shirt (Great size). Easy to read screen (Note-appears dim in full sunlight). Great connectivity - excellent voice reception - crisp clear Speaker Phone. Camera works great for photos of friends. Battery lasts two to three days for average texting and phone calls. Love both T9 and Qwerty texting capabilities. Worked 6.5 hours straight one day on a single charge. Let the phone battery die..and fully recharge for best life. I recommend this phone for College Students and Professionals who want a great internet connected personal phone. Not as glitzy or expensive as IPhone.

I use my phone to keep in contact my husband while I'm away from home because he's a disable veteran. And I use my phone to store meetings I'm a Girl Scouts Troop Leader.

The greatest advantage about my phone is that I can use it to set an alarm when I'm out. It reminds me to do important tasks, example: I travel quiet a bit and if I'm on my way to Wisconsin I need to call my husband at a certain time to take medication I set my alarm. I can use the internet as if I'm at home to browse the many sites, shop, listen to music clearly, etc.

I have no disadvantages for the use of my cell phone it works for my needs

The product could be improved by adding a media player to it, or providing an avenue to add player of your choice instead of having to subscribe to a paid player. For example, samsung has windows media player, and also give you the ability to add another player without just the ones you have to pay for, or subscribe to.

The only one thing that I really haven't figured out is how to switch within the number key board and the qwerty keyboard without losing my place. The touch pad makes the phone extremely simple to use and its logic is perfect for anyone’s taste.
Camera, video, music, organizer, different types of tools, (stopwatch, tasks, tip calculator), display and the TV are great, yes TV. The only thing that it may need since other phones have it and my previous blackberry had it is the GPS feature. But when I compared it my blackberry, this phone is absolutely the better one. Also, WIREFLY service and the simplicity to order was very professional and I will definitely come back for my next phone. In the meantime, I have already recommended people to this site.

The LG VU920 is a great basic phone. Some of the details may need to be improved but overall you can't complain. The only gripes are that LG and AT&T does not offer a USB and software for up and downloads and when in a call the screen locks and if you are trying to access prompts you need to constantly unlock the screen.

i like the overall design of the phone it is easy to navigate. The screen is good and brilliant but only at night or indoors in the sun it goes almost completely white and have to use my hand to cover the sun from the screen in order to see the screens contents. when texting for me it is difficult if i use the horizontal keyboard at first because im a big guy and have large fingers and the letters are small so i tend to press the wrong letters. the music player is great I use it when i work out with the motorola bluetooth headphones and it works great. The phones shell is plasticand it tends to scratch very easily, but the screen is really good it does not scratch as easy. and does not have a stylus.

My wife and I each have the phone. We bought it to get service in a second home. The phone does get service, but it's not consistant. You can be talking on 5 bars and lose the call. I do like surfing the internet with this phone, but scrolling is a bit tricky. I make lots of mistakes pushing buttons. I can't tell the difference in speed between "E" and "3G" on the internet. Overall, we like the phones and plan to keep them.

This phone is easy to operate and the touch screen is awesome. They do make little clear plastic covers to put on your screen to protect it. They come in a package of usually 5. Just cut it to fit and it adheres right to your screen!!! The battery life is a little shorter than I would like but that is the only negative thing I have to say about this phone!!!!

I've spent a long time searching for the right phone. This seems to be it. Small, compact, light, and functional. Everything that I read on the internet about this phone is correct. However, no one seems to mention about the locking mechansim on this phone. There seems to be two screen locking system. The first one, you can turn on/off or set the time for it to lock. However there is another locking mechanism where it's activated when you are on a call which prompt you to punch in the number for option ex. listening to your voice mail. It locks after 2 seconds, so you have to unlock, listen to your prompt and press your option right away before it locks. up. This is Beyond annoyance. I called lg tech support and they said that it's program that way so that you won't accidentally press button on the pad, when you're talking to someone. This is a lame excuse. the programmer who thought of this should be shot. The length of time that it locks should be up to the user, not what the programmer thinks is right. Another thing that I did't read when researching this phone is the horrible ear piece that came with phone. I can't believe they chose an earpiece that would not stick to your ear. The sound quality on this really blows. Would, I reccommend this phone, yes if you can stand the annoyance of the locking system and buy yourself another earpiece.
